We offer a range of Process Serving, Skip Tracing, Real Estate Search, Business Profile Search, Court Filing and Issuance, Document Retrieval, Notary Services and other legal services. We do not offer any legal advice of any nature. We serve lawyers, paralegals, Government and Private organizations, financial institutions, individuals and most important Self-represented litigants.

Yes. We work with self-represented litigants who need assistance with process serving, document delivery, affidavit filing and related administrative legal-support services. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation.


Who is a process server?

A process server is a professional who delivers legal documents to an individual or organization in accordance with applicable service requirements. Quick Serve & File provides professional process serving throughout Ontario, and expanding our services across Canada and North America.

We serve Statement of Claim, Civil Claims, Writs, Garnishments, Small Claims, Divorce Documents, Notices, Collections, Eviction notices and legal action, Restraining Orders, Court Orders and more.


How does process serving work in Ontario?

You provide us with the documents and available information about the person to be served. We arrange service, make the required attempts, document the result, and provide proof of service where service is successfully completed.


How many attempts should I request?

It depends on your circumstances and any applicable court or procedural requirements. We offer single-attempt and multiple-attempt 3 to 6 service options, including packages designed for clients who want repeated attempts without having to authorize each attempt separately. We offer single attempt as well as multi-attempts

Can you serve documents on weekends and /or evenings?

Yes. Weekend service may be available and can be particularly useful when the recipient is difficult to locate during regular business hours. Availability depends on the location and assignment.

Yes. Evening attempts can be arranged where appropriate. Flexible service times can improve the chances of locating someone who is away from home or work during the day.


Can you serve documents outside Greater Toronto Area or GTA?

Yes. Quick Serve & File provides process-serving coverage beyond Toronto, including the GTA and surrounding regions. Coverage can include Peel, York, Durham, Halton, Hamilton, Niagara and Kitchener-Waterloo (KWC) and any location throughout Ontario, subject to assignment details.


What happens if the person cannot be located?

We document our attempts and provide you with an update. Depending on the information available, additional attempts, address research or skip-tracing services may be recommended.


Can you skip trace someone?

Yes. Where appropriate, we can conduct address and location research to help identify current or potentially useful addresses for service. The information available and the nature of the assignment will determine what searches can be performed.

Can you file documents with the court?

Yes. We provide court filing and related document-support services where available and appropriate. Tell us what needs to be filed and which court or location is involved, and we can advise you on the service we can provide.


What is an Affidavit of Service?

An Affidavit of Service is a sworn document that records how, when, where and on whom a document was served. It may be used as evidence of service in court proceedings.


How quickly can you serve documents?

Timing depends on the location, recipient, type of documents and urgency. Rush, same-day and after-hours service may be available in appropriate circumstances. Contact us with the details and we can discuss the available options.


What information do you need to serve someone?

Ideally, we need the documents to be served, the recipient's full name, last known address, phone number or email if available, workplace or other location information, and any known schedule or identifying information. The more information you provide, the better we can plan the service.
